Seishun Buta Yarou wa Yumemiru Shoujo no Yume wo Minai

Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai, also known as Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai is an anime TV series adaptation of the light novel's first five volumes.

The anime is animated by CloverWorks and is directed by Souichi Masui, with Masahiro Yokotani in charge of series composition Satomi Tamura in charge of character design.

The series' opening theme is Kimi no Sei (君のせい, lit. It's Your Fault) performed by the peggies[1] and the ending theme is Fukashigi no Karte (不可思議のカルテ) performed by Asami Seto, Nao Toyama, Atsumi Tanezaki, Maaya Uchida, Yurika Kubo, and Inori Minase, under their character names.[2]

A follow-up animated film, Seishun Buta Yarou wa Yumemiru Shoujo no Yume wo Minai (青春ブタ野郎はゆめみる少女の夢を見ない, lit. Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl) was released in June 15, 2019 in Japan. The film adapts the sixth and seventh volumes from the light novel series. It premiered in the U.S. at Anime Expo (Los Angeles) on July 7, 2019.

A second season of the anime, titled Seishun Buta Yarō wa Santa Claus no Yume wo Minai, aired from July to September 2025. It adapts the University Arc of the series, from volume 10 to volume 13 of the light novels.

Aniplex of America acquired the North American license for the series; it released the anime series and follow-up film on separate Blu-ray discs with English subtitles, 12 months after their respective Japanese broadcasts[3][4].
