Kotomi Kano (鹿野 琴美 Kano Kotomi) is one of the supporting characters of the Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai series. She is a childhood friend of Kaede Azusagawa.
Kotomi is a young girl with long brown hair kept in two tails, brown eyes and dark brown glasses.
Kotomi is nice girl who was always concerned about Kaede Azusagawa (Kotomi's childhood), but didn't had the courage to help her. As Kaede moved, Kotomi kept feeling guilty for not helping her in need.
Kotomi figured what was Sakuta Azusagawa's school and visited him there. She re-introduced herself to him, saying that she was Kaede Azusagawa's childhood friend and wanted to speak with him. As they went somewhere else, Kotomi told him that she never was able to forget that she didn't help Kaede when she was getting bullied. She explained that after they moved, the bullies were told daily to go die and in the end they stopped coming to school. Kotomi asked if Kaede was okay and if she could see her, but Sakuta felt that will cause perplexity.
Later as Sakuta managed to take out Kaede on the beach, Kotomi saw them and tried to speak with Kaede, but Kaede had no memories of her.
They were childhood friends and attended same school. They lost contact as Kaede moved due to bullying and Kotomi had always feel guilty for not trying to help her.
- The name Kotomi means "Japanese harp" (琴) (koto) and "beautiful" (美) (mi).
- Kotomi's surname Kano means "deer" (鹿) (ka) and "field, wilderness" (野) (no).
